Having scored his best results of the season so far at the recent Cremona round, the British rider is keen to continue to improve and exploit the full potential of his YZF R1.
In the morning’s first free practice, Ray set a time of 1’50”452 with which he placed sixteenth. In the afternoon’s FP2, Bradley improved on his best of the morning (1’49”994) to round out the day seventeenth in the combined standings, just 0.977 from provisional pole.
The Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team and rider will be back out tomorrow for Superpole and Race 1.
“The weekend’s started well. Bradley was fast in both session and finished less than a second from first, a result that has us feeling confident for both Superpole and the races.”
“I’m happy with our first day at Motorland Aragon. We’ve worked well and took a step forward in FP2, keeping pace with the other Yamahas. A positive start. Now we need to analyse the data to make a plan for tomorrow. Thanks to the team for all their support.”
