The 2024 WorldSBK calendar sees a home round for the Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team followed immediately by a home round for rider Bradley Ray.
Just a few days after its two-day test at the Barcelona track, the Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team and rider Bradley Ray are ready for the second WorldSBK round that will take place this weekend at the same Catalunya circuit.
The Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team has completed two constructive days of testing at the Circuit de Barcellona-Catalunya in Spain.
Yamaha Europe has confirmed Bradley Ray, who will remain with the Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team for another year.
Like the test at Jerez just a few days ago, the Portimao test also concluded with a day of rain, which prevented the Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team’s riders and technicians from continuing with the constructive work they had begun on the previous day, when the track was dry.
The Jerez Circuit in Spain has staged a two-day test, in which the Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team participated with its riders Tito Rabat and Bahattin Sofuoglu, both making their debut with Sandro Carusi’s team and with the YZF R1.
As previously announced, the Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team will field two riders in 2025, entrusting its Yamaha YZF-R1 bikes to Spaniard Tito Rabat and Turkish rider Bahattin Sofuoglu.
The twelfth and final WorldSBK round has concluded today at Jerez de la Frontera in Spain.
The Jerez Circuit in Spain today staged the Superpole and first race making up the twelfth and final WorldSBK round, an event in which the Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team is competing with both Bradley Ray and wildcard Luca Bernardi.
