Two weeks since the latest Assen round, the Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team returns to Italy, and the Cremona Circuit, for the fourth WorldSBK round.
In The Netherlands, riders Tito Rabat and Bahattin Sofuoglu scored points in at least one race each, but they also suffered a crash apiece, luckily without sustaining any injuries. This weekend, in front of their fans at what is the first of two home rounds, their goal is to finish consistently inside the points.
The Cremona Circuit is located in Northern Italy, close to the city of Cremona. The facility was recently restructured in order to be able to host the Superbikes. The main track has three possible configurations and runs in an anticlockwise direction. It is 3.768 km long and incorporates thirteen turns, of which six right-handers and seven left.
It is a technical and complete track that puts riders to the test, with a straight stretching almost one kilometre and a combination of fast corners and more technical turns.
The Cremona Circuit also comprises a karting track, two garage buildings with viewing terraces, a building used for commercial and educational purposes, a medical centre, and a bar and restaurant.

"I’m pleased to return to Cremona for the first of two home rounds on the 2025 SBK calendar. Racing in Italy gives us a great opportunity to meet with sponsors and really feel the support of our fans. This is another reason why the team and riders are so keen to do well and score the best possible race results.”
“I did very well at Cremona last year and I can say that I like the track; it suits my riding style. The Assen weekend didn’t exactly go as we’d hoped, also due to some tyre issues, but we use those experiences as we work to improve and become regular points finishers. We head to Cremona determined to do our best and achieve strong results in front of our fans.”
"I’ve continued to train hard since Assen and am fighting fit as we head to Cremona. I’m determined to do everything I can to score good results. I know the track, though I was competing in the Supersport category last season, and I like it because it’s “old style”. This fourth round is one of two Italian events, one more reason to make a good impression in front of our sponsors and supporters.”
